What to do with Elk Hide?

I have a hair-on cow hide from one my brother shot years ago. When he passed away a few years ago, his wife didn't want it, and I kept it for sentimental value. It's folded up in a comforter zip bag right now waiting for a good purpose. I have a pedestal mount of the bull in my profile being done, and I'm thinking at least some of it could be used on top of the pedestal.

We also tanned my daughters' first whitetails hair-on, and they get various treatment in their bedrooms. Pretty cool momento for $80.

Get a new wife

A friend has a bear hide as a throw for a spare bed at his cabin. I assume your wife wouldn't like that idea though.
