Do all post 64 model 70s have the same inlet? Like from 1965 to current M70s?As soon as those post model 70 stocks hit the market I'm buying one in SA (308) and one in LA (300UM) and sending them to Bobby Hart to fit to my rifles, amongst other custom work. Spoke to him yesterday about it. He wasn't aware of these new stock additions to the line-up. Thanks a million Stockys.
Yes and no. From 65-85 all actions regardless of chambering were long action. After 85 they did the conventional long and short action receivers.Do all post 64 model 70s have the same inlet? Like from 1965 to current M70s?
I ask because I ordered an FN/M70 SA Houge for $60 off ebay years ago and it in no way fit my 1972 .308 M70.

Just checking in on this, I see the website is undergoing some updates (all good) but I can’t seem to find the carbon VG Model 70 on there, just curious if it’s still in the cards for it to be for sale soon? We're laying them up right now so 2 weeks until it hits the website.
