Hello men. Sorry if this has been covered previously and I haven’t seen it, but I’m brand new to this forum business. I’m wanting to get a spotting scope for mostly truck window use for whitetails in Oklahoma,Kansas,Missouri,Illinois. I only bow hunt so I only need it for judging animals at longer ranges usually in low light. I went in my first elk hunt last year and I’ll also be doing that every year as long as I’m physically able. I didn’t feel I need a spotter for the elk hunting but I’ve not got dreams of other western/northern type hunts. Mule deer,antelope,caribou. I don’t expect there to be a “do all” scope but if you were in my shoes what would be your choice? I’m all for buying used stuff to keep the price down. I’m just trying to get a better/longer view than my 10x42 diamondbacks are giving me. Trying to stay under $500. And if that’s not possible then I’ll just do without ha. Primary use being for whitetails. I appreciate any input.
