I have a Kelty Cloud 6400 from the 90s. It if full Dyneema and weighs 2lbs with change. I asked Kelty how much it would cost to re-introduce the Cloud it would cost north of 2500 dollars.
Sold a decades old kelty cloud on Craigslist last year for 150 bucks. I guess I shoulda checked the pricing prior. I was wondering why she was so damn happy about that old pack. 😅

Can you post some photos of your Kuiu/SG hybrid setup. I am very curious to see the exact connection points. Does the load shelf still work with this setup?

If im day hunting, im guessing my total pack weight is around 20+ pounds with water, gamebags, knife, binos, pistolla and snacks. And whatever else i may have aboard. Maybe even 30 pounds. Does a 2 pound weight penalty because i use the best pack available make a diffefence? Absolutely not.

When i pack in for lets say a 10 day hunt. Im going in over 60. Does that 2 pounds make a difference? Not hardly. The way my pack carries weight, i cant even tell that extra 2 pounds is there.

Load shelf works fine, you just have to switch out the sidelock clips on the stone glacier frame with smaller buckles. 3/4” sidelocks instead of 1”, the webbing still threads fine through it just a little stiffer. I got all the extra sidekicks from Kuiu somehow or another with a pack or something.

Kuiu LT 4000 ( OK, I've never hunted with it, just ordered it on the last 30% off sale, but I will be using it)

Heck of a deal on a Hyperlite Mountain Gear Junction 3400 in the classifieds for someone wanting to join the "gram weenie" crowd.

Hey Sargent, I'd be keen to take this bag of your hands. However, I don't have permission to message you as I'm a newbie, feel free to message me directly

Ive got another one for Kuiu 5500 pro LT.

Used it last year and hauled out 2 elk with it. Im happy with it for what it is. I was between Kuiu and Seek Outside, then Kuiu had one of the pack sales.

SG. Not the lightest but carries weight the best for me and fits me well. My pack more than anything has changed the areas I hunt.

Stone glacier sky archer 6400 cubes I believe. I’ve had heavy loads up to 110 and light ones that were easily cinched down. I like having the meat lid in between the frame and main bag. It carry’s really well for me.
