Not gonna post this in the classifieds, but if anyone is looking for a built tacoma...shoot me a PM.
If that was a manual it might be worth that to me, but with the auto $500 is as high as I will go.

Several months ago I found a mint condition early 1995 (pre-tacoma), always garaged, under 100k miles, SR5, V6, xtracab, 4x4, for $8500......I was almost out the door to drive up to buy it. And then I saw those unfortunate words......"automatic". My similar 1989 with a heck of a lot more miles is still worth more than $8500 to me.

I recently looked at selling my 2010 Tacoma with 100k miles. It is tempting in the current market to make money on a truck I've had 5 years.

I know a gym it who just paid 20k for a 2005 Tacoma. That seems pretty outrageous, especially since he took a loan out for it so in the end it’s going to cost quite a bit more than 20k.

I have an old beater Tacoma that we use to haul trash with, a guy offered me 8k for it which would be awesome except I couldn’t replace it right now.

stupid people make things worth the prices they do. People don't know the value of a dollar these days. When the going gets tough financially, the government is expected to bail them out for their poor poor poor personal finance.

Well, as I bragged on my truck in this thread I feel I should update.

The engine looks to need a major overhaul/replacement at 298,000 miles (the speedometer ran significantly slow for about 100K of that, so I assume the actual mileage is higher).

Anyway, this got long winded, so I started another thread for those who want more details.

I'm not a Toyota guy but my wife loves them, she's owned 2 4 Runners, a Lexus RX330 and now owns a 2019 Tacoma Limited, which she absolutely loves. I drive it on occasion and it's a comfortable truck but it's gutless and I would not want to haul my 22 ft enclosed trailer with it. NADA BB right now shows that it is now worth more than what she paid for it new. Crazy.

What's kitted?

The terminology is just getting weird. Between a tacoma being a "rig", running something that has nothing to do with physical activity, and then building things that are nothing more than bolting on a few items. I just don't get it.

Guess I'm getting old.

Now get off my lawn.

I just had a buddy buy a 2021 for $65k, I remember the days when you could buy a house for that kind of money.
