What is you hunting suppressor?

@Formidilosus hyperion or Hyperion k for general centerfire use, including the range and the field? Suppressing mostly 223 and 6.5 creed, but I do still have 1 300 win mag in the arsenal.

How much does length matter? The full length Hyperion is great in suppression but is a long can.

Hyperion K is very good at suppression as well, and is much shorter and 6-7oz lighter-

The Hyperion K is direct thread. It is also one of the best cans on the market, and in my and quite a few others experience maybe the best overall can on the market.
Was considering the Hyperion K, then noticed in CGS’s material they say the Helios QD TI is quieter than the K, an inch longer and +$400. Have you been around the Helios? If so, is it noticeably quieter? I think I’d consider the added inch if quieter, $ aside.

Yes. I have not noticed any difference in sound or tone.

I used the TBAC Dominus this fall on my 6.5 Creedmoor, I was very pleased with its performance in all aspects.

I run a Dead Air Sandman K on my 300 BLK. Great setup with subsonic ammo. Significantly less suppression than the Dominus with supersonic ammo.

Going to try an Ultra 9 and Hyperion next, I think.

Looking at the Q half nelson and CGS Hyperion K, is the hyperion k worth the extra $300?
