Can't speak on the new heavier bullets from personal experience because I haven't used them. I have been very pleased with the performance of the 115 HVLDs on game. They were also very easy to tune for what ever that matters. Great precision and violent.
I had the exact same experience. I have no reason to try another bullet after lucking into this one.

2 mule deer this year with the 25-284 and 134 eldm. One at 600 yards and one at 805 yards. Both ran about 20-30 yards and piled over. Right behind shoulder on both. Lots of blood out mouth and lungs were mush.

@blue_ridge you should add the 145 Black Hole to your list. I acquired 250 of these and will be testing them this summer. If the shoot in my rifle they will go Caribou hunting with me in September.

134s are the easy button. 133 and 135 Bergers consistently perform as well. I prefer the extra bit of penetration from the bergers personally. I use the 134s for playing around and the Bergers for hunting out of my 18" 25 western.

I haven’t used the 133s, 134s, or 138s yet, but I look forward to trying them out this year. The 117-grain Federal Premium Gameking BTSP has been so phenomenal that I haven’t bothered to reload for my .25-06 in years. Exit wound on a 150-pound whitetail buck at 80 yards.
