I picked up a Hoyt Carbon Defiant a few days ago. I really liked the Matthews Halon as well but I didn't want the extra weight and I found it ugly haha. Looking forward to getting to know the bow this spring in preparation for the fall season.

Currently shooting my 2016 Athens Solace

But soon I will transition into the 2017 Athens Revelation

nice. Let us know how the new bow shoots. Still shooting my Athens Convixtion. Im sure Rodney that this thing shoots better than it did before I ran over it and you guys rebuilt it. Just need to kill something with it but I really like the bow- short and easy to carry, forgiving, and fast enough for me. Will the Convixtion still be in the 2017 line-up?

I just put in an order for a Carbon Defiant 31 in Buckskin with Ridge Reaper limbs. I shot the Halon last year and the weight really wore on me during my western hunts. Going light this year.

My sentiments exactly.

Patiently waiting for my 2017 Hoyt Pro Defiant 34 to arrive. Black riser with custom black limbs that will match the riser. I just couldn't get used to the carbon weave on the stock limbs. Bow should be here in two weeks.

Counting down the days now Mark, your old bow should be all set up after next weekend.

2006 Bowtech Tribute. Bought it new summer of 2006, had a couple other bows since then but always end up selling them and going back to the tribute. It just fits me perfectly. Been thinking about upgrading this year, have tried a few newer models out but haven't found one yet that I was willing to spend the coin on.

I'm currently shooting an elite answer and love the bow but might be in the market for a new one. I've shot the prime centergy hybrid and liked it. I also shot the elite impulse 34, tempo and option 7. The tempo felt the best to me out of elites offerings. Then last week I shot the bowtech reign 7 and was blown away at how comfortable that bow was to shoot, even 2 inches short on the draw length. If I do end up buying a new bow the bowtech is at the top of the heap.

I've heard a lot of excellent reviews of the Bowtech Reign, my only concern would be the limbs, probably not a big deal in the overall picture but it's definitely in my head.

Just bought a NewBreed GX2, I will be putting it through the paces the next couple months. See if it earns a spot in the lineup.
