Save more money that what you expect, as there are many other hunts that come spur of the moment, and you always want to do more.

1. I will never be that guy that made a great stalk with the wind that was questionable. It still won't work no matter how bad I want it to.
2. When you have 4 elk tags, 3 sets of game bags are not enough.
3. Don't worry so much about having the latest and greatest gear. Just have the time and money to be out in the woods with family and friends.
