What happens when liberals take over your state.

Yep

This is all that matters to a significant portion of the hunting community:

"As Governor, Abigail will also prioritize protecting Virginia’s public lands — while maintaining hunting and fishing opportunities for Virginia families."

Same thing hapenning in Iowa governor's race. Rob Sand is current state auditor and self-admitted liberal, but he's shot some nice bucks on urban/suburban bow hunts in Des Moines. Makes a point of posting his big buck pics and horn porn, even making a cameo at the IA Deer Classic over the weekend to get his "209" officially scored.

However, he avoids making his position on the 2A clear, any position at all really, instead using his bow hunting pursuits, and a generally ignorant public, to get sportsmen and sportswomen to support him "because he hunts". He's a hunter so he's gotta support the 2A, right? (Sarcasm)

On the flipside, you have GOP that's had a triple majority for years that has been effective on 2A, passing castle doctrine and constitutional carry, but missing a key piece on concealed carry this session. The bad part is that the GOP in Iowa is God awful on anything habitat or enviroment related. Still haven't passed a complete ban on emminent domain for private CO2 pipelines.

We got lots of liberals here in California. Some of them are working on bringing back the grizzly bears. Their historical range includes SF and down the coast to LA. Pretty great stuff! It's all going to work out just dandy.

(sarcasm, for that one guy that wouldn't get it)
CA is welcome to have all the problem grizzly bears from WY😂😂

This is the equivalent of saying that you don't care about public land being sold off because you only hunt private land. That is, if public lands were actually ever sold off.
No it's the equivalent of saying; we'll California hasn't banned guns yet, so why even worry about it. That is, if California ever actually banned guns.

You mean the Iowa GOP that made it illegal for the state auditor to find fraud? No way they have a problem. You should just keep voting red no matter what

I was born a staunch environmentalist and a diehard hunter. I’ve never seen the dichotomy that so many politicians sell as anything but a be sales pitch. I’m all about having all the native species that fit and making more areas for them all to truly work and thrive. But when I hear recreational environmentalist Oregonians call for grizzlies I’m like….. “you sure about that?”

Changes every dynamic they’ve become accustomed to. They have the option to just view or participate in nature absolutely at their own discretion right now. Grizzlies make you a participant whether you consent or not.

There really isn't.
The hasn’t happened therefore wont logic is pretty flawed. If there are bills proposed to sell, trust that they’ll do so. No different than with guns. Not many guns are seized currently therefor a gun law making my guns illegal isn’t important…. It’s a flawed logic.

That's how I feel about California gun laws.
Feel however you want, but that doesn't make it true. The list of firearms banned in California is extensive and includes a significant portion of the most popular guns on the market.

The public land that actually gets sold is miniscule, and it usually if not always doesn't provide much if any recreational opportunity.

Democrats mess with guns and what species you can hunt and republicans mess with public lands, the environment, divest in habitat and wildlife projects, and sell your spot to the highest donor…. It’s a pick your poison thing at this point.
You summed it up perfectly. My wife and I were talking about this the other day.

Not all public land should remain public. Not a single gun should be illegal.

But in some states, a lot of guns are illegal and seized.
