What guns to buy before a ban?

Buy a few receivers of any type, AR, AK, whatever, in general they are cheap and you can always buy the rest of the kit later to get built up.

In general though the new Colorado law still allows you to buy these firearms if you go through the safety course. I had to do this to get my carry license renewed this past year. It was a joke. Basically pay $100 to sit through a class where the answers to the test are given to you as you take the test.

Either way it's an infringement of a right and shouldn't exist. The Mountain States Legal Foundation has been pretty successful with fighting these bills and they have already filed a suit against this particular bill. They recently got New Mexicos waiting period thrown out.

How exactly is a required safety course an infringement upon someone’s rights ?

Hell forget the $100. Imagine being required to take a course to speak in public.

Of course.

It’s a fundamental right. Restrictions on fundamental rights get analyzed under strict scrutiny. One of the many longstanding errors in jurisprudence the Supreme Court has corrected in the past couple of decades is recognizing this fact. And that bad jurisprudence was almost entirely the result of racist reactionaries gutting the three Civil War Amendments during the 1870s.

You ask for an example of how it’s an infringement of a right then cry hyperbole?

I should have known better to take the troll bait.

I hope you find better things to do in your life for your sake.
What the hell are you talking about??? Not once did I ask anyone for an example. I asked how a safety class was an infringement of rights.

You do realize hyperbole isn’t inherently negative? It’s simply exaggerated syntax to prove a point. I was making a fu-cking joke dude.

Is this fact or conjecture?
🙄 it’s a fact. If I told you that you have to pay 100$ then go to a class for an entire weekend, pass a U.S. history test, then file more paperwork and then wait for said paperwork to be approved just to vote. Do you think more or less people would vote? Would you say that is an infringement on voter rights? Or would you say, “well you can still vote no big deal!”

It is absolutely an infringement on a RIGHT
