What guns to buy before a ban?

IMG_6512.jpeg

I love / hate the state I live in.

So many new laws to essentially ban guns. The one listed above, barrels to go though FFL. State fee on FFLs on top of ATF license fee and new security requirements at FFLs = less dealers all just makes it more onerous.

A gunsmith I use, just moved north across the Wyoming line.

but to answer OP - small and large frame ARs

I say you buy a Pepperbox and let the chips fall where they may. All these fellas with their AR’s and fancy lasers. Fear the man that pulls out an antiquated piece of shit and invites you to the dance floor.

Buy the weapons platform and system you’re familiar with, and comfortable using. People don’t need 30 firearms with every accessory imaginable. You need a rifle you’re intimate with. Let that word sink in. Can you operate that bitch in the dark, high as **** on adrenaline? Malfunction four rounds in. Can you get the weapon up and back in the fight ?

Keep the god damned thing clean and oiled. Nothing more pathetic than a man that keeps his rifle in poor condition. Ammunition is finite and you must battlefield resupply, if that is indeed the intent you’re building around.

Weapons familiarization is far more important than the weapon. Remember, Simo Häyhä killed roughly 500 Russians with a ******* Mosin Nagant variant. Don’t overcomplicate the uncomplicated.

Death by a thousand cuts... it's a tried and true Lib strategy. Ironically firearm sales probably exponentially up here in CO, I know I have used it as a "get em while you can" argument to justify purchases- ha

Molon labe. What a hill to die on.
That’s a fashionable thing to say, until you realize you’re fighting your own countrymen to the death.

You guys need to buy uppers with your lowers. Here in Communist Canada, they banned the uppers as well as the lowers. Just because it’s the serialized part, doesn’t mean it’s the only thing they will ban.
The rest of the parts are harder to ban because so many other guns use those.
Don’t forget your AR10s either, buy those too.

Just bought my first AK and plan to pick up a few stripped AR lowers. Been toying with the idea of a PCC be we'll see.

You can still buy semi autos when the new laws go into place. You just have to jump through some hoops.
Couldn’t you just have a friend from out of state get one for you?

I mean if buying one before the ban is ok, how would they ever know when or how you acquired one?

What an idiotic reply,

Our Constitution obviously relies on the willingness of its citizens to understand, value, and actively live by the principles—individual liberty, limited government, personal responsibility, and the preservation of natural rights. As I am sure you understand the Framers designed the Constitution as a safeguard against concentrated power, recognizing that freedom survives only when the people remain both engaged and capable of defending it. The Second Amendment, in particular, reflects this philosophy by affirming that the right of the people to keep and bear arms is inseparable from the broader concept of liberty and serves as both a practical means of SELF-DEFENSE and a symbolic reminder that ultimate sovereignty resides with the citizenry, not the state. To neglect these principles is to weaken the very structure that protects democratic self-governance; to uphold them is to preserve the balance of freedom and accountability upon which the Republic was built.

But you do you sweetheart

AR15 Stripped lowers, all you think you will ever need. Heard the gun shop counters and places like Scheels running full tilt right now. If you don’t want to fool with FFL transfer then get your AR15 uppers via mail while you still can.

Next tier would be glocks or any other semi-auto handguns. I suspect the general assembly will come for them next session.

And it’s not just Colorado, looks like Virginia is headed that direction very quickly. Really sad to see one of the states most associated with the American Revolution, founding fathers, freedom and liberty head straight into the depths of Marxist tyranny.
