Mine is the 22 inch barrel and will group the Hornady 200 gr ELD-X within 1/2 MOA. However, struggling to find another factory hunting round that works well and some ammo is flat out awful in the gun. Had a few ammos with crazy flyers. Would love to have more than just the ELDX as an option. The Barnes Harvest Sierra 180 gr is probably the next best I found (~MOA groups). Just curious if anyone else has thoughts.

It can be a mystery sometimes. Different length bullets prefer different twist rates, some seem to like different velocities, and some rifles are just plain picky. The only way to be sure is buy one box of any bullets that you would like to use and keep trying. The extra trigger time never hurts, unless the 300 teaches you to flinch. If all else fails at least it likes a decent bullet that is easy to find.

Yeah, I bought about 200 rounds of it. It works well and it's what Seekins uses to test fire them at the factory. Would just love to find an alternative though maybe I just end up hand loading at some point.

If you have something that shoots 1/2 moa you are done searching IMO. You might not beat that hand loading, assuming ES and SD are respectable
