Well, I'm new to archery hunting elk, second year to be exact. I'm just curious to see how high up the elk are the last week of season. I know, elk are where you find them but just seeing if the majority of you hunt treeline still of drop down to like 9500 or so in the timber. I was on elk at 11.5k the first week but I've never hunted the last week before

Like I said, I'm pretty new to all of this archery hunting stuff so any advice will be great.

Depends on the area.
For the most part 8500-9500 feet is where I've seen the most but I've seen them higher and seen them lower. I usually try to start around 9k and go from there for the last week.
