Have a good buck on camera that I will try my best to take no matter the score but curious what yall think he will go. Took a 153" off the same property a few years ago but he was a non typical 9 so hard to compare the two for a score but I feel like this buck is about the same size or maybe a little bigger than that buck was.

I think his mass is deceiving, he might be bigger, don’t think there’s ground shrinkage on him, if he’s mature, they tend to be bigger once you recover them. My 169 was that way, figured he was mid50s on the hoof… this is a beautiful deer, I’d say he goes right around 155, hard to say off a pic. Judging by the feeder this is in the south? Not knowing how big the deer is plays another roll. If he only dresses out at 145lbs at 5 yrs old vs what we see around here well into the mid 200lbs. Does he have 16” wide ears or 22” like some in the northern Midwest?

That is what makes scoring a whitetail from a picture in an unknown location so hard. If he is a small bodied coastal deer, he may only be 125-130". If he is a midwestern deer, I agree he likely scores in the 150s. If that was in south central Canada, Maybe in the 160s? The body doesn't say big to me so my guess is 140" deer .

A big body buck in Oklahoma might hit 160 dressed and that is a fat corn and protein fed deer. My 150"+ buck was 150-160 dressed at 5 1/2.

I could care less if that deer was one of these 98 pound dressed bucks we get down here - the antlers are peak for him - typical, and really pretty.

Best way to tell is put him on the grouund and put the tape on his horns, very nice deer. I have killed some very nice deer in 56 years hunting them and never once had one scored, but thats me.

Great all around, awesome frame and mass. Might not get up there to 160 just with smaller brows and kinda crab clawy G4s.

145 give or take. Solid mass, nice tine length, 18" inside. They always look better going away, I've had a lot of bucks on camera from behind/the side that always surprise me when I get to the head on shot.

I would guess between 140-155. However, I primarily hunt mule deer. No white tail expert here good looking buck though.
