What did you do in the reloading room today?

Fed ex came in clutch. Somehow they managed Phoenix to Boise overnight. The 550c showed up this morning.

Just got everything dialed in, and I’m cranking out bullets baby!!

9mm
147 berry’s round nose.
3.8gr CFE-Pistol.

Hopefully I get a chance to shoot later this evening. View attachment 1073041
You wasted no time getting that up and running haha. Work has been killer this week, so hoping to take mine on the maiden voyage this weekend.

After 1000 rds of 9mm on a single stage I'm over it. Y'all are gonna cost me money.
There's a used 550 near me, lady is asking 1200. Has a few things with it like powder tumbler and media separator, and a set of dies installed.
Is that a fair price if the does are a caliber I need?
Or is that a gtfo asking price?

Seems a little steep for a used press.

Sized a pile of 6mm ARC, 6.5 Creed, and a few 6 creed. Have 200 more pieces of 6 creed to do tomorrow. Dropped powder on 50 6.5 creedmoors. Found a good load with staball 6.5 and 140s my gun really likes.

Got my 550 up and running- definitely a game changer!

Had a few hiccups along the way…. Accidentally placed a bullet on station 2, so seating a bullet with the powder funnel didn’t work out well haha. Then ended up getting a case stuck in the sizing die (hasn’t happened in years).

Despite the above - I loaded 750 rounds of 300 BLK with N110 and 110 gr Varmageddons. Looking forward to putting the 550 through the paces for my 357/38 and 6 ARC.

I spent Saturday and some of yesterday possibly wrecking my new rokstok for the trainer trying to install a Red Snake Tactical aics bdm.
I think I got it. But the front action screw is too short.
The amount of material I had to remove was crazy. But I really like the aics mags for 223.

No reloading as I looked forlornly at my press. With no tag in the pocket....yet....was hard to get motivated to do anything, especially since I have a bunch loaded right now. I do have a bunch of cases prepped and ready to go with some H1000 to try and start working up another load for the 300wm.

I did manage to get the Apex trigger installed on my 10mm. Much better than factory, Shorter, smoother takeup, and better trigger pull for sure.

Sorting pistol and rifle brass by caliber from 5 gallon buckets, fun stuff
I have a 20 gal tote full of the same. I limit my self to 20 mins. Actually set a timer on my phone. About the 12 min mark some body part starts to ache and I remind myself factory ammo shoots just as well.

RWT - 100% with you, I've been putting this off for some time. When I start running numbers, I tend to step away but it's in the blood - cant' fight it
