Unique isn’t metering well in my old Rcbs powder dispenser.
I’m measuring over the current max 5.2 but under the older max 5.6 so one at a time.
Mild target loads I don’t worry about precise powder drops.

Brass prep 6.5 PRC, primed, powder charges done. Just need to seat bullets and crimp.

You must have a fairly short barrel? I got those quite a bit faster with less powder, but I have a 22” barrel.

Just received my ADG 7 Saum and 300 WSM brass yesterday. Ill be at the bench this week. Waiting for my custom Saum to be finished. Concentrating on the WSM for now. Have some 178, 195 and 208. ELDM's to play with. Oh and some 185 Berger Elite hunters.

Been chasing a good load for my son’s Ruger American 7-08 with 140 accubonds. Got a decent grouping at 46gr of imr4350 last time at the range. Put together a ladder of seating depths and tested them Saturday morning. Brought a few loadings of 150eldx and one loading of 162edlm. Nothings spectacular with the 140ab’s. Eldx were better at about an inch. Then I tried the Eldm’s. 44gr of Imr4350, cci 200 primer and set them at 2.885 coal. 3 rounds almost touching put together a group of .394”. Loaded up a bunch of those this morning and headed back to the range to confirm, zero and get velocity on them so he can get some range practice in before next weekend. Trying to get him stretched out to 400 yards for the CBC. Also found a sweet load for my new 700 223 trainer gun. 77smk over 23gr of h4895 at 2.260” printed a cloverleaf ragged hole group at .196”. The red diamond on these printed load dev target is 1/2”. Overall, awesome range trip.

Finally swapped out the barrel on my 223 CTR for a 20" Proof. 2700 rounds on the factory barrel - probably had some more life in it, but I was growing impatient haha.

Popped the factory barrel off in two whacks with the dead blow. Had to sand the barrel channel out quite a bit on the Mountain Tracker LR due to the barrel channel being off center....this wasn't a problem with the factory CTR barrel, but I knew I'd have to address once I eventually made the swap. This was the first run of stocks from the Dev list project, so I hope they'd have this figured on the inlet going forward.

Hoping to sneak away to the range this evening to get a few rounds down the barrel. I bought several hundred rounds of ammunition anticipating my 12 year old son shooting a lot to prep for his first hunting season with tags in his pocket.

After spending over an hour on my Lee turret press this morning just to make 100 9mm bullets, I decided I’d finally had enough. The turret has stopped indexing, and the lever arm loosens itself every 50 rounds. Very aggravating.

Dillon was having a Memorial Day sale, with free bullets. Purchased a 550c and strong mount.
Hopefully a good investment.
