What Broadhead?

I'll be hunkered down behind a natural ground blind Saturday morning in Southern Alabama on the end of a ridge that 5 gobblers were roosting on last weekend... My arrows will be tipped with the 125 grain Bullheads. It will be 20-25 yards and in, but can't wait to see the results!

I used 100 gr Ulmer Edges last year they worked OK. I did break a blade on the bird but that could happen with any head. I may try Grim Reaper Whitetail specials this year or the NAP gobbler getter.

They work pretty well for me...

Same things I use for everything else, slick trick. Definitely interested to try the bull head though.

I've had good luck with big cut expandables I'll be shooting the spitfire maxes again this year.

most of my turkey died with slicktrick magnum 100. one at 38 yards, no blind. highlight of my turkey "career"

my last two birds, grim reaper razor tips 100. one bird just laid down and died.

this year, i am going to try the bullheads rattling around my desk drawer. i am going to get some full length, 0.300" spine arrows, fletched with 4 vanes as they suggest. even with my (long) 28,5" arrows, that blade is right next to my fleshy hand. scary.

only if the bird cooperates..if not. grim reaper time! again.

What broadhead are you using Justin? I did not draw a turkey tag in nevada, AGAIN but still curious what guys are using.

I typically run a Trophy Ridge HAMMERHEAD w/ a STD 8/32 thread BUT since switching to Injexions I've just run my RAMCATS.

Going to do some playing this year w/ EPEK and Grave Digger and possibly a Slick Trick D6 ;-)
