10 twist is plenty. OP has tikka bottom metal meaning 215 Bergers wouldn’t even fit in the mag without the ogive being inside the case mouth and 215 Berger’s stabilize fine with a 10.

I run every rifle i have suppressed with the shortest bbl being a 24

Most of the guys i hunt with do the same.

Where you hunt matters. Out west we are trying to eeek out every last ballistic advantage to ensure we can make longer shots. Where we live shots are usually either 150 yards or 800+. One you get accustomed to running it, length is not really a big deal
It’s personal preference. There are plenty of shorter barreled rigs that still give plenty of velocity at 800+ for reliable expansion. If you can happily carry a 32” barreled rig thru oakbrush or an alder jungle then more power to you.

True - yup it does require more mzl discipline for sure - probably not a bad idea to focus on that part of it anyway, especially hunting around other ppl

I know the velocity will be less than optimal, I want a 30 cal. bullet going as fast as possible with a short barrel in a cartridge I can buy ammo for about any time or place. I feel this is my best option. It may not be for you . Thank you to the ones who replied to the questions I asked.
