What are your elk plans for 2012?

going to apply here in wa for archery elk but not expecting to draw with 5 pts so will be heading back to idaho for 10 or 11 days for a sept elk hunt.. will not be complainig with either one of these tags

Change of plans, fire academy is keeping me from summer scouting, so i figured id move my vacation to being able to scout for a few days then hunt them for 10 days. Should be a fun time.

Was informed I did not draw mt deer/elk combo. But heard they had leftover tags. How is this possible?

I am not sure that could occur. I would be on the phone with them tomorrow, as I understand the leftovers go on sale tomorrow.
