What are you guys using for protien shakes?

Osmo Acute Recovery...I like the isolate. Hydration is more important than drinking a protein powder alone. Your meal should be apart of the equation.
 
I think for a "recovery" drink you want something with simple carbs in it. That will give you your energy back and replenish your body's glycogen levels. Protein is good to feed your muscles after you work out but won't give you a boost or anything, besides maybe a little bit from the natural amino acids in the protein. It looks like the Wilderness Athlete recover drink is trying to get vitamins and aminos in you for a natural energy boost, which is also another choice. A combination of this with some natural sugar, like honey, would be good. If you want to go a light easy route maybe some pixie sticks or something would be quick.
