Yes i felt this as true but don't know why. Shorter bow by a few cm. But what else?Having the 60lb maxed out should be more “efficient” though

The quivalizer is great, I like them, or at least the concept. It for sure slowed down pin float, but in the coastal brush, it is always pissing me off getting hung up, trying to weave it through the salmonberry… I got tired of itHey @roosiebull, I noticed you dropped the quivalizer this year too. Are you using any stabilizer on your lift, or are you gonna see if you can get away with no stabilizers? I felt like the quivalizer worked well for what it is and my bow aimed nice, but after removing it and using a light 2 piece quiver I’m thinking that I may not need any stabilizer (at least for hunting shots under 60 yards).
Good comment. Playing with DL is probably the thing I enjoy least when it comes to tinkering…idk why. Last year I extended my DL by 1/2” based on in-person feedback from a pretty reputable bow shop. They basically said lots of folks are 1/4” to 1/2” on the short side, and end up being a little “crunched” in their anchor. The longer DL worked good for me but I did find out I need to practice shots more on uneven terrain. The uphills and downhills felt a little less stable with the longer DL, so I’m also thinking of going back down on DL by 1/2”I think I’m going to shorten my draw length by 1/2”. Currently at 28”.
Why? Not sure. lol Just bought a new bow, and it just feels off compared to the same bow I’ve been shooting for the past 10+ years.
Besides, it’s March and my elk hunt is in Sept.![]()
Doing anything specific?Working on my shot execution.
Mostly working on my preload in my back, I shoot a hinge and I have been fighting lefts and rights due to inconsistent pressure to fire the release, at least that is what I suspect.Doing anything specific?
