I wouldn't trust the person that decided that a chimp is a house pet either.

A crippled goose beat the shit out of my bird dog so bad one year he refused to even try to pick them up after that. He'd run out to them and stand over them but would not even attempt to retrieve them.

I don't know that I could take on a healthy one.

I’ve had my ass kicked by both turkeys and geese. Since I can’t beat a bird I just leave all animals alone unless armed.

There is no way 6 out of 10 Americans are taking on a goose, and winning. It can be done. I've had to do it a few times at work. But I've also seen them go after people and the goose was the clear winner.

I've wrastled a few geese in my day. Did goose removal as a summer job in college catching a few thousand in 2 months or so. Our hands were a little tied due to it being high profile always dealing with tree huggers harassing us. If they smack you on the bridge of the nose with their wing spur it does not feel good and honestly could probably knock a guy out. Never lost to one though. They don't phase me at all.

6 out of 10 people can't fight their way out of a wet paper sack let alone take on a Chimp or a Lion.

I’ll say that house cat confidence is WAY wrong.

a house cat is a mini leopard, not lion. They are so bloody fast they are nothing but a blur when their blood is up. Most people have never seen Muffy Gone Wild. I’ve had cats for almost 20 years. I give myself a 10% chance of killing one by hand if it’s full-bore pissed.

Agree- no chance anyone is beating a chimp, unless they get a gun or a big ass knife. Those things are vicious, fast, and strong as hell. An unarmed human would be a piece of cake for one.
