What 6cm rifle is the easy button

Why not just get a 1:8” twist Tikka in .243? It can easily shoot the factory .243 loads or be reloaded with heavier bullets. Even if you have to add a threading job, you would still be under your budget.

Seekins PH3 or Element M3. I have the latter in 6CM and it is incredibly accurate and a massive upgrade over my PH2 (also in 6CM) in terms of bolt feel and versatility. Their new quick fit barrel and bolt head system works well! I’m rotating between a 6CM barrel for hunting and a 22 arc barrel for training (the 22 Arc barrel and bolt head cost me $700 bucks from EuroOptic).

I like my Tikkas but they just don’t match the performance of my Seekins out of the box. If you are talking easy button, it’s Seekins. Buying a Tikka and changing out the barrel and stock is fine, but certainly not the easy button and you’ll be waiting on parts for months in most cases.

I forgot that I have an AR10 in 7.62 that I never shoot. I think I can convert that to a 243 for cheap. Just for fun

Seekins PH3.

I was in this same boat and wanted a Tikka 6 creed due to the weight of the PHs. I found a smoking deal on a Tikka 243 1:8. I just decided to roll with that since I hand load. Once the barrel is shot out I'll probably grab a 6 creed prefit. From what I under stand if you hand load the difference between the 243 and 6 creed is negligible.

One route that is an easy button to get into a 6CM is the ruger american gen 2. Bought one for my wife. It is a great shooter with factory 108 ELDM. It's definitely a cheap rifle, I don't love the mag box. But man the thing shoots pretty darn good. I did replace the trigger with a timney.
I did the exact same thing with a Gen1 RA including the Timney trigger upgrade. Eventually found a great price on a MagPul stock for it that wasn't great but was a world of improvement compared to the factory Tupperware stock.

An AR barrel swap to 6cm or 243. That’s the easiest button to push…… second choice is a Ruger American gen II. Great results with mine.

Eurooptic.com might have them for that as well… I looked long and hard since I have 2 CA’s but man if my picky one did turn me off from that company for a while… tremendous value IMO… but it may or may not be a finicky SOB when it comes to a bullet that it likes
