If I had to pick 2, I'd probably pick .243 and 30-06

I vote for 4, though

.22lr
.223
6.5cm
30-06

(Shout out to 30-30, 7mm-08, and .308)

Live in the northeast and we mostly hunt deer (rifles not allowed) and black bears; and moose are going extinct up here, so right now it's...

22 LR - Ruger 10/22 - small stuff
6.5 creedmoor - Tikka T3x Lite - medium stuff
.35 Rem - Marlin 336 - slower moving medium stuff

Would be pretty interested in a Sako in .30-06 or .300 wm to round out the collection and maybe a 22-250 or .223 critter gun

Honorable mention to my Benelli M2 12 ga and my TC Omega .50 cal muzzy

7mm-Do it all caliber.
300 win-great for large game.
30-06: Great for any size animal within 400 yds. Ammo is very affordable.

243 win(more versatile than 22-250)
338 rum (like a 338 win with a bit more reach)
375 Ruger at 6.5 lbs(built my own on a Howa1500/bansner stock) it's nice to carry ....not as much so to shoot.

For my second, third choice(huh?) An AR 15
For my third, 3rd choice a 12 gauge

Probably a big revolver or two and a 45-70 lever gun.
