Wet mold

Got e new to me LT knife and want to wet-mold the leather sheath. Kydex would be ideal but limited $. Got a food preservation bag but I’m unsure how long to leave it in the bag. Any advice?

What's the bag for? Just work the creases and edges every few/10/20 minutes as it's drying. You can use rubber bands and sticks or whatever you need for the leather to hold its shape overnight.

I oiled the knife , wet the sheath and vacuum sealed it with foodsaver for a few days . it worked great . just make sure you put the grid side of the bag to the backside of the sheath, it leaves waffling marks.
