I know this is a new model, but I am wondering if anyone has any appreciable miles on theirs yet and can tell me what they think. I have seen that previous generations of the Briksdal had issues with the rand delaminating. I'm wondering if Crispi got that figured out. Also, it looks like they went with a slightly different vibram sole and I am wondering how people like it, especially in wet conditions. Thanks.

Crispis are the best “waterproof” integrity synthetic boots I’ve used. I’d have confidence there.

I’d have equal lack of confidence on the rands. My buddies mtn gtx model also started separating, early. I’m hopeful they figure out a different glue or the different upper material helps on this new model…..

I’m wearing a pair now and wear them everyday for work in AG, I have over 25 miles on them. I had the gtx and sent those back because of a liner issue. I was sent the EFX as a replacement. The rand is holding but they for sure are shrinking faster then my first pair of GTXs did. My first pair of GTXs lasted me 2 years of everyday use. If you get a pair I would go a 1/2 size bigger.

Any other feedback on these boots? Considering a pair with the current sale.
My last pair was great, I wore them every day. They will shrink after time so I would say going a half size up might be good.
They are a stiffer boot. During the break in i noticed it on my heels a little bit, Wool socks helped vs cotton.

overall solid. I have had multiple pairs of the lapponias and one pair of the guides. The difference stiffness between the lapponias and the briksdals efx's is very noticeable, but that being said, I have put flat trail and logging road miles on the briksdals and they still felt very comfortable. I've also worn them in wet conditions where the lapponias would have wetted out and the briskdals stayed dry--specifically breaking through wet grass and huckleberries for long periods of time.

we'll see how these boots hold up over the fall, but overall very impressed. These will be what i put on my feet anytime it is wet or theres a lot of morning dew that doesnt burn off immediately.

The first pair I had was great. Most waterproof boot I ever wore/owned. I wear thin wool socks and never noticed my feet being miserable when it was over 100 degrees.

Back to life. Seeing how these boots are treating folks. I’m currently running the Colorado II, but looking for a leather option.

ive been really happy. They are definitely stiff, but i kind of love them for rugged terrain. Same terrain on my lapponias left a lot of my stablizers feeling beat up at the end of the day.

I did have one day that they wetted through. This was after many applications of conditioning cream were applied. I dont think it was a fair shake however because i was stubborn and didnt put my gaiters back on when breaking through the brush and wet grass. Other days in the wet they performed very well.

if you want a stiff boot that still feels pretty light and nimble with good control on technical stuff, i would not hesitate recommending these. If stiff boots give you an issue or youre on trails / logging roads a lot, id probably go with nevadas personally.

Like a stiffer boot. Currently running the Colorado II which is a flex 4, same as briksdal. Was hoping a leather boot would keep my feet drier. The Colorado’s soak through.

They held up well to wetting out when i was wearing gaiters and rain gear.

I have done some scouting trips in mine and training hikes. I had the Nevadas before and I like these quite a bit more. I hunt steep terrain in Washington and they are great so far.
