And a lot of those websites are restricted when deployed. Have you ever tried researching anything when using govt computers from a combat zone? It sucks. That, and the fact that your allotted time to use a comp is extremely limited.

You're exactly right sneaky. And I'm deployed to about as close as you can get to a combat zone right now. My workaround for a lot of this is having friends and family email me PDFs of the state regs and unit maps. So far its worked out pretty well, but teh OTC mule deer thing was word of mouth from a friend that told me they looked at the regs (they clearly didnt).
