Western Hunting Summit...what’s everyone’s thoughts?

Agree Desk Jockey- I am fortunate to have a dad who took me hunting (deer, turkey, dove) and a Father in Law who introduced waterfowl (mid 20's). Elk hunting was an endeavor all on my own. I asked many people about going and had a few on here who provided some general information, but not a single one offered for me to tag along......I had a couple choices at that time.....strike out on my own at some random unit (information overload), pay an outfitter to take me and show me the 'ropes' (very blessed financially, so went this route) or pay for something like this summit mentioned above to help lessen the learning curve. I am now taking someone with me for the first time and glad to do so. I had a blast, learned ALOT, saw some amazing country/scenery and heard my first bugle.....can't put a price tag on that!

Glad I had a dad who took me hunting....some don't. For all of those on here calling 'scam' or 'demeaning comments' for stiffs and such for paying for this.....please post when you are hosting a 'free hunting backcountry seminar' to teach the same concepts to those who never had someone to take them hunting. Quit being part of the problem and become a solution. My hats off to those who are teaching and those who want to learn and spend hard earned money for it...….
I host a free hunting seminar every fall multiple times. Can you say the same?
