Maybe a bit early but who's going and is Robbie doing a seminar?
We booked our hotel room last year and my wife kept an eye on prices and eventually got us a good deal.
For those that haven't gone, it makes a great family mini vacation in the middle of the winter. The mall close by is great for the wife, the food court and kids play area is a great place for kids to burn energy and the booths are a great place to see what's new and get some good deals. Last year we spent a day in Park City at Olympic Park and this year we'll spend Saturday at woodford park with the kids.
You may or may not agree with the expo but overall it's a great family event with like minded people in a great family type city.

My wife and I will be going. Enjoy getting away for a couple days. Booked a room right next door , so wife can go back to the room if she gets bored. Love being able to see all the gear and stuff

Educate me on this show if you will. I have more gear than I know what to do with, so that’s not the priority. I will definitely window shop though. I plan on doing sheep camp and want to enter into some hunt raffkes. My understanding is you have to be present to win raffles. Is that correct? Do hunt raffle drawings take place each day or is it a specific day, I.e. Sat or Sunday. Basically, do I need to plan on being there every day, or just mainly Sat-Sun? Sorry for being a Newb regarding this.

I don't do any raffles or drawings.

50/50...if we come we will probably attend one day and then go to Park City. Where we live its only snowed in 1989 and 2017 since we've been alive.

You’re missing one, somewhere circa 2010, I have pictures of the Christmas tree in front of MUSC with snow on the ground.

Last year was my first year going and I lived it. I wish I could go this year as it's a 20 minute drive, but I'm moving to Florida like 2 days before it starts. Would love to be able to do the tag raffle, but...

Some drawings you need to be present to win and others it's not necessary. The expo tag winners aren't posted until after the expo is over.

Good chance to see all of the "Celebrity Hunters" shilling for their various companies.....Grin

It's a good show with lots of vendors and some great Taxidermy work. My buddy from Capture the Hunt Taxidermy will be there....say hi, he is a good dude.

I swear these drawings are rigged and every year I say I'm not going to buy any draws, but I do and then I say I'm just going to validate the drawing, but end up going in just to check it out. The admission is usually worth it for the sheer volume of mullets and bedazzle jeans in any one place.

look at the odds. They’re worse than any western Big game tag out there! 1 - 3000-7000? Why would anybody pay for a .02% chance?!

I have seriously debated just driving down to validate and leaving but I get sucked in with the "you drove over an hour to get here, might as well get your moneys worth." Instead, should just use the entry fee to put my name in for more tags. I hate supporting the tags but you gotta do what you gotta do to have a shot at hunting a sheep in your lifetime these days.
