Guys inland as far as the Nowitna, koyukuk and Bettles area are reporting 40-mph winds and rising water. Can't imagine the western coast right now. Whoa!

Rumor is that she’s over the sea walls in Bethel. Wind and rain isn’t much worse than it’s been the first couple weeks of September. What a garbage fall it’s been.

I am really glad we got out of Kotzebue on September 8th. The forecast all this week looks awful if you are in the field.
