Hey all,
Last month we had a successful group buy from Waters Rifleman. I had a couple guys reach out, wishing that they had been able to get in on it. I’ve had others express interest if I did another, so we’re doing it. It’ll work just like the last one. Prices are for the item shipped to you. Waters is known for their Tikka .223 mags, but they also have a lot of other mags. They have mags for every cartridge family for the T3X. They also make nice AICS mags. They do sell a T3X bottom metal with extended mag release.

For the 223 mags, they are available in 6 rd and 10 rd configuration, with 2.4” or 2.6” COAL. The 2.4” is great if you shoot factory ammo, or load to factory length. The 2.6” is used for hand loading longer than standard COAL. 2.26” standard length ammo may or may not feed properly in a 2.6” mag.

The 223 6 rd are $140 shipped to you
The 223 10 rd are $150 shipped to you
The T3X bottom metal is $130 shipped to you
*I will ship to all 50 states, unless there is a legal issue.

If you’re interested in an item from them that’s not listed here, PM me and I’ll get you a price.

Funds are due in full to me by the deadline that will be given, and are not refundable. This is not to take advantage of anyone, but keeps me from getting stuck with extra mags that I don’t need.

Hi! I am interested in the bottom metal! Both for 223 and the long action one (for my 7mm rem mag).

Do you have experience with their longer rounds mags? I am wondering if the 8 round one for belted magnums is excessively clunky and huge.

I’ll take another one. 10 round 2.4”. Let me know when you are ready for the $.

Thank you.

I have been happy with my 10 round, long COAL mag. It feeds 2.3 length rounds fine for me, but I can see them sliding forward too far and causing an issue. They are great mags, definitely better than MT Tactical or Ascension Industries and if you have the funds, worth the increased cost in my opinion.

Do you guys know if the mags work with the factory bottom metal (plastic)? Or would I need to purchase their bottom metal?

They will work with the factory bottom plastic. As has been commented in the first group buy thread, sometimes a shimming washer needs to be put between the stock and the bottom metal. This is fairly common with some aftermarket stocks pertaining to even factory mags. For example, High Desert ships shimming kits with their bottom metals.

I ordered one not long ago. Cycled 300 mags well in limited practice cycles. Need to play with the latch mechanism a smidge more to make it more consistent to insert in factory "bottom metal". (Or practice). It binds up on the high desert metal btm metal. The radius' in the corners are too tight it seems. I'll probably file the btm metal a bit.

$187. Got it in 4 days. 😅

Got it to run 25 prc. Pic below is a 6.5 prc.
I wouldnt say it's any more annoying then a aics 10 rd.

This highlights the benefit of doing it on a group buy. On the group buy, that bottom metal is $130 shipped to you.

Thank you! This sounds and looks great! Did you have any issues with the belts stacking wrong? The waters website says that belted magnums are not guaranteed to feed ..

Thanks again!
