To be honest, I ran like 3 mags worth thru it.

It cycled fine.

Didn't notice anything with the belts.

Only thing I really noticed was that I need to make sure I get it seated right.

And my ejection was weak (need to take apart the spring and plunger and clean/inspect I guess)

I got that barrel removed this weekend in prep for my 25 prc. So I won't be any help on belted magnums going forward 😅.

Hey guys. I’m on the left handed tikka .223 list. I don’t have experience with .223 mags. In terms of value for these Waters mags, if I shoot once a month at the range for say 50 rds, are the tikka factory mags good enough?

How much are you guys shooting that makes these worth it. Or in another way of asking, how unreliable are the tikka factory mags?
 
my factory 4 rounder started getting finicky around 1200 rounds. the factory 6 round never worked right. I was able to restore function to the factory 4 round, but i no longer trust it.

The factory 4 rounders are much better than the 6 rounders, but still seem to have issues once used a decent amount. The Waters mags function awesome! I use the extended COAL models since I handload and seat long.

UPDATE:

A quick update for the participants. Waters is processing the order as fast as possible. They expect it to ship out next week. They had stormwater damage their shop, so that put them behind. They are back in operation, but trying to catch up. I’ll post again when they ship out. Thanks guys!

Was going to be posting an update soon, so thanks for the prompt!

I should be hearing back from Dave Waters today on a ship date. It should be any time now. Payment had to clear, and I know he mentioned they had to make a couple pieces for the order. Hoping they ship to me today or tomorrow.
 
Just communicated with Dave today. Apparently the couple pieces that they had to make to complete the order is what has held it up. Supposed to ship this week. I apologize for the delay. I will be mailing them out quickly once they get to me.
