I went to buy a Browning BBR 300WM that had a leupold on it, sight unseen. When I showed up...I paid the man and ran. Only the 2nd one I've ever seen ( I'm sure you have seen many). 2007 model

I remember seeing those advertised but have no experience with them. Were they immune to the other issues (won't hold zero, crooked reticles/turrets) Leupold is/was known for?

Also, am I reading that turret correctly? .300WM 165 at 2675?

My reduced loads for my old 30-06 beater/loaner gun are hotter than that. Weird.

Also, you mentioning the BBR brings back memories. Grandpa had one in 30-06 and another in 25-06. They were nice rifles, or at least I thought so as a kid. I'm aware that they have certain quirks but they sure were pretty.
