I feel you, im 18 and need my 3rd surgery on the same knee. I've looked into the artificial meniscus a bit, they seem too work really good but for a short amount of time, about 5-7 years. Id like to have one but there needs to be a longer lasting material berore i try one. Its a good idea to put off your op till march, it will give you plenty of time to get back in good health before hunting season. Good luck!
