Picked up the kifaru 44 mag and duplex light. I plan to get the 22mag gen 2 for day trip/1 nighters, as well as the claymore, and the organizer pouch in the near future. Will be a big upgrade from my ILBE Gen 2 pack that I have. Anyone else running the 44mag?

Learn from my experience - tip 1 - establish a secure (non-home-address) to ship things to. Tip 2 - have a gun safe in the garage, and one in the house somewhere - this is key, it allows you to move firearms from the truck to the safe in the garage. Even when I am not bringing new guns into the house I 'shuffle' them intentionally, when she is around. This way she is frequently seeing me move guns around, so much so, that she has quit asking 'is that new?'

@USMC-40 lol it's set up to ship to my buddy's house actually! And for buying gear I have a second bank account which she doesn't know about and a small portion of my paychecks go into.... Is it the most honest thing I can do in my marriage no, but could it be good for my marriage, yes!

I have a buddy pay for all my gear she don’t know about and I pay him back cash. I have a savings account she doesn’t know about. Buddy gets points for my stupid buying habits. Works pretty good. I do have stuff shipped to my work too which as usmc said is pretty solid. Got caught with a fieldcraft last year. Had to buy a stupid entry table for her of equal value. She didn’t ask but she was giving me some flack and I didn’t wanna hear it.

Wow bunch of judgmental individuals that must live a “ perfect” life. If it don’t involve you, it’s really none of your business. I don’t hide much ( anything like some of above) as she is very understanding and don’t say much when I buy something, nor do I when she buys things.
