How much does the A-5 weigh? Nothing specified on their site.

Its heavier than I think most here would want but Ive always carried heavy rifles so this set up at 11.9lbs isnt bad.

I can check and let you know but I want to say it was around 3 lbs but I may be wrong there. They don't put specifics unless you look at the stocks ready to ship section. Also it depends on whether it is carbon, standard fill, sniper (heavy) fill or magnum fill for weight of the stock.

Man, I'm digging that barrel and set up, better get ready for some tiny little groups!

Most of my hunting rigs have finished between 9 and 10 pounds in a hunting ready config. I've tried lighter and feel you give up too much when the moment counts.

I just bought an 8 twist 30 cal muller for my next big boomer, thinking it will be 11-11.5 hunt ready.

I've lost about 25 pounds of that big ole muscle in the middle so there's a little wiggle room on rifle weight

They have them in stock now. But after mounting it with this barrel I’m staying with the Mediums. The neoprene cover sits under the objective bell pretty snuggly with the heavy barrel.

I hear you on weight. My 260 is just shy of 10lbs I believe and I feel like it’s on the border but this one is right at 12 so I think it will purr like a kitten especially with it being suppressed.
