well, guess these things are real

hiked about 2 miles upstream of Pahaska Teepee lodge just outside Yellowstone Park. trying my hand at fly fishing, saw a small black bear and then afterwards, right in front of us, an 8' tall very muscular sasquatch/bigfoot crossed the river right below us. No more then 100' away and just stared at us and disappeared into the willows.

never ever before did I believe in the myth of these creatures but no doubt we encountered. one. too scared spit-less to even reach for a camera and never had one on us anyway. when it disappeared we pretty much ran back down to the lodge. still recovering from this one and no, didn't bother to report sighting to any law enforcement. wouldn't believe us, anyway
Uh huh...

OK, a few things.

#1) I would really like to get a hold of the substance(s) that the OP was on

OK, smartass off

#2) With 9 billion trail cameras everywhere, don't you think one would had been filmed?
And 9,000,000 tourists a year you would thing somebody would have pics trying to pet or ride one... or hit one with their RV!

Didn’t you know that a Bigfoot's hair is reflective and causes an invisibility cloak around them when the noise of the camera shutter goes off? That’s why you get all those pictures that look like grass swaying. It’s Bigfoot frolicking about in your photos without a care in the world.

Yes but there is a shadow government agency that shows up at your door when it's discovered that you have grainy out of focus sasquatch footage. They're called the MIB (Men in Blur) and they confiscate all Bigfoot evidence.

I heard from a friend who's working at Pahaska Teepee that large human like footprints have been found in the area, even in the parking lot and supposedly, someone x-country skiing spotted a bigfoot along the river
You are still going with this? I'm going to ask an actual person who actually exists who really does work at Pahaska Teepee if anyone has made any of these claims. When I see him, I'll ask and report back here. What is your friends name who works at Pahaska? I'll actually ask for them by name next time I'm over there.

I've spent over 30 overnights and over 60 days in this exact area. Still haven't seen him or his tracks....

… come to think of it, doesn’t the tiny rifle “guy” also go on podcasts, not really sounding human, and never showing his face and talk about spending a lot of time in the woods and being barefoot? 🤔

I think you mean “wallop”?
Good point! You know, I’m neither an engineer nor literate. I always thought knockdown power was a measure of force, and wallop was a measure of work. That, or knockdown was present tense, wallop past tense.

Either way, I can’t imagine a scenario where I say “wallop” without describing the scene as “a little western.”

I’m not saying Bigfoot is real, or tech savvy, but if he was….

You can bet your bottom dollar he’d be convincing hunters to carry smaller and smaller rifles that lacked the knockdown power to stop him in a confrontation.

I (and untold scores of others) have killed piles of elk with calibers beginning in .2. I’ve killed more with a bow. They’re not hard to get close to.

Folks that shoot them with giant calibers from many hundreds of yards either suck at hunting or do it for clicks.

Don’t be a Karen dude!….This thread is about cryptozoology, not ballistics.
