Hey Roksliders,
many of you are bipod users and should consider getting in on this.

Spartan Precision Equipment is now an official Rokslide sponsor.

Their Javelin Bipod received high marks in Justin Crossley's 2016 "Bipod Shootout". At 5.25 ounces, it's a backcountry hunter's dream bipod. You can read that review here: Bipod Shootout Review - Rokslide

I've paired with Spartan to get a bipod in one of our members hands for review. This is not a random giveaway- I'm looking for some of our serious bipod users who can run the bipod on a few hunts and post up some feedback for our members. You can keep the bipod if you follow through, if not, you owe us $300+!

If you think you're the man for the job, post up this to enter:

1) Rifle/caliber you'll use the bipod on
2) Hunt or hunts you'll run it on and when they occur

This is not random. I'm looking for the best test bed for this project. This is a unique opportunity, so please only enter if you can give a fair and honest review in a timely manner (depending on your hunts, probably by December 1st.) I'll draw around November 8th.

Custom rem 700 in 6.5 creedmoor. 12 pound gun
Got two different deer hunts in November on the prairie of SD. Have used Harris, atlas and cheap bipods so I would be able to have a reference to compare to.

TS Customs 270wsm, late Nov western KS mule deer hunt. Would give a review by mid Dec and can give a comparison to the KD Snipepod I've been using for a few years, similar in weight but very interested to compare the differences.

This bipod is legit and is my go to hunting bipod. I have used the heck out of it for everything from calling coyotes to hunting antelope in the grasslands to backpack hunting deep in the mountains. Someone will be getting a great opportunity with this deal.

I bought one for my brother as a gift and he has been putting it to good use as well.

This is an awesome giveaway rokslide sponsors are the best. Wish I could justify getting one for myself it's a sweet piece of equipment for sure. Can't wait to read others experiences maybe that'll push my book keeper into opening the purse enough to get one

Thank you for the opportunity.
I have a 30-06 with a bedded Bell and Carlson stock.
I have a late season Wa Mule deer tag in the Naneum which I will be back packing in Nov 13-19th.
I do have a Harris bi-pod on the rifle at this time.

I'll be shooting a MOA Evolution chambered in a 7mm rem mag topped with a Nightforce SHV.
The next hunt I have planned is flying into the Frank Church Wilderness for a 12 day hunt, we fly in the November 7th and fly out on the 19th. On this hunt the main focus will be mule deer but I also have elk, wolf, bear and cougar tags for the area.
I could also add a follow up youth hunt to the review, my daughter has a Colorado unit 10 cow elk tag that she will be shooting the same rifle for. The dates we plan on hunting are December 1st through the 9th.

I would love to test this out, but I am definitely no Justin Crossley and based on the criteria probably wouldn't be the best candidate at this point. I have heard great things about this product though. Good luck to those who enter!

When Justin told me how great this 5.2 oz bipod was I just kind of laughed him off. When the owner of the company stopped by my house and showed me the product I was intrigued but suspicious. When I took it to the range and zeroed some rifles I was impressed. But when my son dropped and Antelope at 514 yards and a bull at 750 yards I was blown away. Last week I shot my deer at 440 yards with the javelin. This bipod is a backpacking hunters dream and one hell of a product.

I’m headed to eastern Montana this weekend for 5 days. Have a Cooper model 92 300win mag I’ll be taking. Currently use either an ancient Harris bipod or a champion. Would love to test it out although even if I were chosen don’t know if it would get to me before I leave for next weeks hunt.

Hey all, thanks for all the entries....

I gotta go with dotman on this, with his experience, previous gun related reviews, and the fact that he's about the most active on here...

Get me an email coming w/ address and I'll hook you up with Spartan and see how fast we can get this to you.

Thanks everyone and watch for more ops like this.

Choovhntr-that would have been sweet but Spartan is shipping the bipod. Travel safe and have a super hunt.
