Weird marks on primers

It would be entertaining for all of you to somehow make a conference call to a Federal rep.

One person explains his issue. As soon as he gets "That's the first report we've had", all the others come out of the woodwork with info on when they contacted Federal about this previously. I can hear the crickets now! 😅

50 or so rounds in on my PBB 7bc on Seekins ph3. I’ve had ~5 rounds that weren’t really hard to extract but just the last 10 degrees of bolt throw at the top are tough. Had to slap bolt up a couple times but then it extracts easily from there. Kinda opposite of HK slap haha

I’ve had that same thing happen quite a few times on a Browning XBolt .300 WM. I can’t quite tell if it’s because I was too spicy with those loads or if I was just being too delicate with the bolt or working it from an odd angle, etc. When it has happened I usually don’t see other pressure signs. Then on the flip side many times I’ve had extraction and bolt lift be fine with signs like flat primers. Not quite sure what to make of it.
