I ordered a stockys vg2 a couple weeks back. Just waiting on it to ship at this point. I believe they have to make the stock and they only make them a few times a year so I’m not sure how long it will be

Mine just shipped. ordered end of October. It had to be made for a M70 VG grip. About 6 weeks

They said it would take that long, so on time.

Honestly I can’t see myself ever buying a more expensive rifle than the Howa/ vanguard rifles. Not the lightest but not the heaviest. Shoot great

I'll just add that MDT makes several chassis and the fieldstock for howa / vanguards. I got a fieldstock on the black friday sale. I've only handled it out of the box...but for the $$ I'm pretty impressed, it is better than I was expecting. Always a good thing....

So I just received my stockys vg2 in strata. I love the way it feels. Only thing I regret is not getting one of the web patterns just for added texture. Has anyone ever sprayed a flat clear coat on their stock to protect the camo finish from fading/ chipping off. Also wondering if I could use it to add some texture around the grip area
