Curious for opinion on my options, I am left eye dominants so options or slim and I am looking to pick up a 7 prc for a do it all big game cartridge in British Columbia (moose/elk/Mule Deer) I am trying to decide right now between the mark v high country/back country or a custom built tikka aciton wiht a 22 carbon 6 barrel.

Tapping in as I'm a lefty looking for a lighter weight 7prc myself. Hoping Browning or Tikka release a factory 7prc at Shot Show. Found some Christensen Mesa Fft for $1200.00 but I'm scared of their QC issues and really prefer a tang safety and less than 90 degree bolt throw. Keep us posted with your search.

I don’t own the Mark V you’re talking about, but looked at one the other day. They did a good job of pairing it down into a light rifle, but it’s an odd choice for a light rifle because the Mark V receiver starts out big and heavy. It reminded me of trying to stuff Marjorie Taylor Greene into one of Lauren Boebert’s dresses. :)

Weatherby accuracy probably wouldn’t be as good as a custom barrel on the Tikka.
