Weatherby 307 rail issue and question...

I bought a new Weatherby 307, it’s my first 700-style rifle, and it shipped with a rail attached. I made the mistake of trusting that the factory rail installation was good to go, but during break in, after a box of 7prc, it came loose. I cleaned and degreased everything well and reinstalled it with just a micro dab of blue Loctite on each screw. It seems fine now, but I’m left not trusting it. Those screws are so damn small, and the thread depth is extremely shallow, just doesn’t seem like the rail has the sort of purchase I’d like it to, especially for the repeated thumping it’ll get from that round. In hind sight, I wish I’d have built a custom rig using an action with machined (integral) rail. Now I’ve got this nice 307 that I’m less than enthused about, and I’m unsure of what to do next. Can the rail be pinned? Or machined for larger/better attachment hardware? Other options? Any advice appreciated.

Is the 380 more of a fill-all-the-gaps bedding solution? Or can I expect a mechanical bond between cerakoted parts as well?
It’s an instant adhesive, scuff up the top of the action and the bottom of the rail if the are cerakoted but I would bet it will bond well to both.

I 380 all my rails now. A little messy so use disposable gloves and lots of paper towels and QTips.
