I've got a couple older ones - it is amazing how fast they rust, and how readily they hold water. Wish they dipped the parts so the insides would get painted too.

Good time of year to check and replace them.

Don’t use ladder stands much anymore but we used to buy in bunches and then spray paint “camo” with leftover cans we had laying around. It definitely seemed to make a difference with rust and how they held up.
