I have several of that style tote, they work pretty well at keeping dust out if in the back of my SXS and stack super well. The lids will hold water though as they are inset.https://www.menards.com/main/storag...ote/bbtote27-1061ky/p-60892918543-c-12667.htm these type of totes are great. They stack good and have good latches. They also have places to strap them down that won’t let the strap slide off. Not sure how water proof they are as I typically end up throwing a tarp over the truck bed when heading out west but they should keep a moderate rain out. They are a heavier plastic than the cheep Walmart ones that the lids don’t stay on.
They hold water, but does the gear inside stay dry?I have several of that style tote, they work pretty well at keeping dust out if in the back of my SXS and stack super well. The lids will hold water though as they are inset.
Sitting in the rain? Yes.They hold water, but does the gear inside stay dry?
I like those!I bought 8 of these a few years back and have been extremely satisfied. Theres a foam gasket under the lid and when the latches cam over it pulls them tight slightly. No hesitation whatsoever about water getting in. I wouldnt drag them with a rope up the yukon but for everything else theyre great. Corners of lids have cutouts for feet to index so they stack well too.
Looks like home depot has them nowI like those!
These work well. I unloaded my jeep and left it out for well over a week on accident through a good bit of rain. No water inside and everything was dryI had a mouse get into my food tote. Thinking about something like this for my next hunt. They have a few different ones that say waterproof. Something dust proof should also keep rain out.
