Looking for opinions in a sock to wear while running outside in running tennis shoes. The trails are grass and/or mostly pea gravel. Trying to keep feet somewhat dry while running in dew and some puddles that occur

I think you want an ultra-breathable sock and shoe to just wick the moisture away. Your feet flat out produce moisture and if you trap it all in you will have very soggy feet. It's like when people wear crap socks inside a H20 boot, I have had friends complain how the gortex on a boot doesn't work and then you have them switch socks and they have dry feet.

LJbuck,

thanks I will look into some better moisture wicking socks. I get that I’m not going to be out for days this is just a run and can go home and change but right now I’m using just asic running shoes and regular athletic socks and with all the rain we’ve had here this spring even though some of the trails are gravel they are underwater and I have soaked feet within the first 10 minutes lol
