Looking for something to add to my possibles.
Really just looking for something convenient to get through one night and a wake up.

Thanks!

I just use the ones from the camping section at walmart. I have used them for years with no issues. They are about eight bucks.

This, to me they taste about the same as the MSR aquatabs- both noticeable but not terrible.

I really prefer the aquamira drops. Just my $.02.

I use the aqua tabs. I have tried the drops but i hate trying to mix everything and then putting it in the water. Just easier with the tabs. A slight taste with the tabs, but a lot lighter than a pump...

I use 2 to 3 drops of regular bleach to 1 litre from a running water source and 4 from a standing water source. Shake well and let stand for 30 minutes. You can filter particulates out by running the water through a bandanna first.

aquatab user as well; if I decide to go with my Steripen- I'll still carry aquatabs as backup

I've recently heard it's better to get water from calm water as it's not mixed up if you will. Standing water has less chance if getting a nasty.

Me too. I tend to drop tablets and lose them. I also am usually purifying pretty cold water, the tablets can take a very long time to dissolve. The drops work out better for me.

Thanks for the help. Ended up with Auquatabs. Hopefully never need them, but for what they weight they're in my kit now.

Again thanks.
