Taking the girls out for a camping trip into the Mtns. Will need to filter the water and want to add some flavor
for the girls. I want them to drink plenty of water. Familiar with MIO, any other brands and flavors you like? Packets/powders, drops?

Just be careful of caffeine, nearly everything has added caffeine in it. Even yogurt, chocolate and unsuspecting things.

I have the big tub of blue Gatoraid powder to mix with when I don't just take electrolyte pills.

I like the Celsius packets but the ones I get have 200mg caffeine. Not sure if they make noncaffeinated ones.

I also didn't mind the Crystal Light ones. Just had to play with them to get the ratio right as what they recommend was too strong. I did double the water.

Yep, same. I also like lLiquid IV, wilderness athlete, Mtn Ops.

On another note, I like Honey Stingers for snacks. Lara bars but my kinds don’t like them so I just use Chewy granola bars for them.

True Lime brand drink mixes. Personally like the strawberry lemonade and black cherry limeade.
Cheap, can find them pretty much anywhere and not filled with a bunch of BS.

LiquidIV are good as well but some of them are straight sugar bombs. That’s what caused me to start looking for others. Many of the brands have a ton of sugar in them.

Sam’s Club has the Celsius 30 packs on sale for 13 bucks a box right now.

I use Walmart brand Electrolyte packets during hunting season. They are about 1/8 of the price of element or liquid IV and taste great. No caffeine. They do have artificial sweeteners and dyes (what doesn't?) which I dont typically consume but for the short time I use them I dont worry about it.

I use this stuff about once a day, Keppi electrolyte powder ( peach & mango) and it almost completely stopped my cramping, HERE

Edit; I've tried probably a dozen of these type products- some worked OK, some were worthless- and settled on this one. This one is High in Calcium,Magnesium and Potassium....low Sodium. No sugar but tastes great. Made in Utah. It works.

Wilderness Athlete for me.

Energy & Focus Tropical Fusion
Hydrate & Recover Strawberry Pomegranate
Mix together.

They have several other flavors available
Probably something that the Girls would enjoy.
Easy to use packets

I bought some generic electrolyte powder stuff, but just for flavor, it's hard to beat welch's strawberry peach single-serve drink mix.

Forgot but I did a service project a couple weeks ago and they had Re-Lyte from Redmond Salt in Utah there. I tried one and it wasn't bad, tasted like you were licking a salt block every time you took a drink but I didnt have a massive crash towards the end of the project like I normally do. It would probably be better if you mixed it in more water but all I had was a 17 ounce water bottle. Its more of an electrolyte mix than flavoring.

Redmond Re-lyte for my family. Once used to the saltiness (can be adjusted based on water volume used), you will find that cramps and dehydration symptoms are a thing of the past. Plus, it actually tastes good with clean ingredients. LMNT is good as well, just more expensive. I’m sure there are others, this is just my experience.

Look up coupon codes for Redmond and grab the 60 serving tub to save some change once you know what you prefer.

Our favorite flavors are Iced Tea Lemonade (Arnold Palmer), Mixed Berry, Lemon Lime, and Strawberry Lemonade.
