I have gotten a lot of new kuiu stuff this year and don't want to jack it up. I have read a few different ways on how and what to use. What have you guys had the best luck with? ? Thanks

I don't do anything special to it and have pieces that were bought the day they opened their doors. If I am washing anything with Velcro on it in the same batch I close all the Velcro and turn it inside out. The Velcro can be hard on the merino items.

I recommend air drying and washing on a delicate cycle. Other than that you should be fine.

Don't use regular detergents and air dry. I wash by hand when I can. Nikwax has a cleaner I think. I only washed my guide jacket when I went to sell it. And I didn't even wash my pants every time I used them and when I did it was mostly by hand with very little to no detergent and hung dry always

sport wash..... look it up. good chit, made for materials such as your items. that paird with revivx a repellent agent baked at med heat for 60 min and you be golden.......... i also use hunters specialtys earth scent wash in my quiver of washes all be the goods, use with common sense and have a great season.

Uee some type of Tekwash or a detergent that is made for products with DWR. This will help on all the outer layers. I use a wool wash detergent for all merino and dont wash my SD. Check Amazon or REI will have all of them.

I've washed mine a few times. Nothing special. I do use non-scented wash and just throw it in the regular washer and then hang dry. No issues.

I also just throw all my KUIU in the washer with scent free detergent and then it all goes in the dryer on low. All my clothing still looks good going on 4 seasons.

I wash normal, but hang it dry.

With the recent heat. I hang everything dry.

Scent free detergent and hang dry or put it on low when it's in the dryer.

When I had my guide jacket I would treat it with the Nikwax DWR treatment after washing.
