Warm boots for winter riding

I have some kenetrek cowboy pacs, they’re a bit narrower of a boot with a spur shelf and they do the job. But I hate wearing pacs. Tapaderos to block the wind then throw some of those full length foot warmer insoles in your cowboy boots and your good to go

I also use the Schnee cowboy pac boot or Irish Setter Elk Trackers with 1000g thinsulate. both fit great in my stirrups and both keep my feet warm. I haven't even put the taps on this year.

Thanks for these ideas, I've got some schnees short pack boots with velcro. My feet were warm, but the velcro came loose and the boots were dangling a bit. Taller muck but would be good and I plan to make a set of tapaderos.

I wear Hoffman felt pacs and/or white corks with felt. My feet are always warm even at -20. I wear taps and have larger and longer stirrups.

I do like the britchen on your riding saddle.

Thanks, that britchen cane from outfitter pack station down the road from me in Weiser ID.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality and construction.
